NFL DFS from Down Under – Week 8

Posted Thu 25 October by Adam Joseph

The Week 8 Edition of NFL DFS sees the absence of Dr Darryl Data as he jets off overseas. So that leaves just Woot and Wye to discuss the entire DFS slate from Thursday Night Football right through until Monday Night Football. Week 8 features some blockbuster NFC matchups with the Saints taking on the Vikings and the Packers clashing with the Rams. Both games offer plenty of fantasy options with implied totals over 50 points.

Woot and Wye really like the options at running back this week, in particular, the elite options of Kareem Hunt (Kansas City are 10 point favourites at home against Denver) and Todd Gurley (who will play a major role in the Packers/Rams game mentioned above). Outside of those elite options the guys really like undrafted rookie running back Phillip Lindsay. With Royce Freeman questionable, they like the upside he brings with a heavy amount of touches (both on the ground and in the air). The lineup cruncher has a sleeper pick in the Packers Jamaal Williams.

Woot, Wye and the Fantasy Lineup Cruncher all agree that Zach Ertz is the best option at Tight End this week. The only player with more receptions in the NFL than Zach Ertz is the incredible Adam Thielen.

Kirk Cousins, Baker Mayfield, TJ Yeldon, Adrian Peterson, Jermaine Kearse, Robert Woods, OJ Howard, Chris Herndon & the Redskins defense are all discussed at length as good or potential plays this week.
