In the Week 14 Edition of the NFL DFS from Down Under Podcast, Dr Data joins one half of the Woot and Wye show to go deep and dissect the NFL DFS slate. Before jumping into the Week 14 action, they recap their Week 13 picks with Keenan Allen’s monstrous (and quite lucky performance – did you see his touchdown catch!?) SNF performance against the Steelers helping them cash.
Much like Week 13, Week 14 offers quite the variety with plenty of varying stacking options. It is a particularly interesting week as the two of the highly productive offenses in the NFL, the Chiefs and Rams, facing two of the tougher defenses in the NFL in the Ravens and Bears. This makes games like the Falcons at Packers and Steelers at Raiders more desirable matchups.
Both Data Darryl and Wye are particularly enamoured with the premium options at the wide receiver position this week. Julio Jones has been a much loved player on this podcast and it continues again here with his game against the Packers. Over his last four games against the Packers, Quintorris Lopez Jones (Julio’s real name), has averaged 7 catches for 144 yards and 0.75 touchdowns. He famously torched them for 180 yards and two touchdowns in the divisional round of the 2016 NFL playoffs. Julio loves playing the Packers. The guys also like Antonio Brown and TY Hilton as other premium plays.
Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Christian McCaffrey, Tarik Cohen, Sony Michel, Jaylen Samuels, Courtland Sutton, DeVante Parker, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Travis Kelce, Jared Cook and the Bills defense are all discussed at length as good or potential plays this week.
