Fool’s Russia-n to World Cup selection according to Fantasy Insider Founder and Data Scientist extraordinaire D.P Woodford who says coaches must wait for final teams to be announced before locking in their lineups.

Great World Cup DFS chat with the boss as well as all the usual excellent AFL DFS action from Roody and the Sarge.

…and we haven’t even got to the US Open yet!

Monster weekend of Daily Fantasy Sports and it’s all covered right here on the Fantasy Insider Pod.

Sarge’s Saturday Side

Defenders: Going with the safety Kade Simpson to start off. Only 13.7K and playing at home against a sometimes leaky Fremantle. Pencil in a ton thanks. For my second defender I’m going with Paul Seedsman. Love his upside in an undermanned Adelaide side and he’s still under 12K

Midfield: We’re going back to well with Luke Dunstan here, he’s playing the Gold Coast and teams have been destroying them recently. With that logic in mind I’m taking Seb Ross to ton up. To finish off the midfield I’m taking Matt Crouch at an absolute bargain basement price at only 13.5 and Jarryd Lyons, who will hopefully play with a chip on his shoulder at 12.6K.

Forwards: Opening with Jack Billings here, he had 50 touches in the VFL last week and I expect the Saints to play him in the guts all game. To partner him up front I’m picking Patrick Wilson on debut for the Crows. The kid has solid form in the VFL averaging 25 touches a game. We only need half that out of him to make value.

Ruck – Big Billy Longer. 5.4K and solo rucking? Lock it in and worry about the rest of your team.

Other bargains identified by Fantasy Insider’s Lineup Cruncher to look for if you need to fill out a team include; Sean Lemmens, Will Langford, Alex Sexton, Stephen Hill, Lachlan Weller and Nick Graham
