This week on the Fantasy Insider Podcast; Roody runs through tonight's 30k Contest on Draftstars, the Sarge attempts a never-before-seen hatrick in Saturday's 30k Contest and we chat with Fantasy Insider Founder and CEO Katie Prowd about an exciting new website that all punters are sure to love.

It's a huge (extended) Round 12 Pod and we couldn't even fit in the monster 100k Queens Birthday Contest!!

Sarge's Saturday Side

Fwds: I'm not going past Tom Lynch at $8.8K. I don't particularly like his match up against GWS at Spotless and nor do I have any faith in his Gold Coast teammates hitting him on his chest but at that price, he only needs a score in the 60's to hit value. The cruncher has him in the top 2 value plays of the slate so we're locking him in.

The other forward I'm going with is Ben Ainsworth, named in the guts with the absence of Hall and Lyons and you can pick him as forward which is a bonus. He's averaged 84 over the last 4 weeks and his scores before that were injury effected keeping his price down. He's ready for a step up.

Mids: Going for a range of premiums here starting with Mitch Duncan. He's consistent, he's at home at and I think he's the least likely of Selwood or Ablett to get the Ben Jacobs tag. Next up I'm taking Callan Ward - has a soft matchup against GC and with Coniglio out I think he gets more of the pill. I'm also not sold on Josh Kelly's fitness which benefits Ward.

I'm also taking Lachie Whitfield as a mid for the same reasons as Ward, no reason why he doesn't ton up against the Gold Coast and is still a solid price. The last midfielder I'm taking is Luke Dunstan: Maybe I'm chasing his 120 from a few weeks ago but an injury in round 10 has kept his price low and the Cruncher reckons he's good for around 90 and I'll take that but I think there's a good possibility he can do better.

Ruck: Wylie Buzza! Yep I'm going back to this well. His VFL numbers show he can find it when given the chance and at 5.7K with Geelong lacking some reliable tall boys, I give him half a chance to be the wild card that tips the slate in my favour. Risk=Reward.

Def: Going for mid-priced players here. I've got my value and premiums sorted out in other positions so I'm taking any more risks here. I'm backing Nick Haynes to mop up everything Gold Coast kick blindly at him on Saturday and Zach Tuohy to give us one his Kardinia Park specials where he gets involved in all the Cats switches up the wing.

Additional Cruncher Info: Here's a list of other cruncher plays that haven't made my final cut. Aaron Young at Gold Coast - could be a beneficiary or weakened team, doesn't need a big score to hit value but I was worried about his chances in the GC forward line. Still good value though. Tom and Paddy McCartin, the brothers in the same game are both very good value. Strongly consider if you're multi-entering. Good luck picking which one though. Another from this game is Daniel Robinson, he'll win you a slate one day but there's a lot of good value in the fwd position on this slate.
Oh and Jarrod Witts, he's probably the best ruck pick on the slate! Will be high owned and for good reason.
